Week in Review

Last Thursday we staged a mock robbery at the CU. I was proud of my staff & the way they handled it. The Shelley Police recruited some officers from I.F. to help with the mock robbery. They use one police officer as a diversion while the other one did the actual robbery. We have a digital video recorder that Kim and I were able to review the robbery on. It was very helpful in identifying mistakes. It is odd how scared you feel even when you know it is a drill.

Sherwin finished out the school year. The last day, he invited one of his foreign exchange students from the Czech Republic golfing with him and one of his friends. I'm sure he will miss some of his students.

Today after church, dinner, and a nap, we took to the road again on a Sunday drive. These are one of my favorite activities with Sherwin. We drove through the Wolverine canyon. Sherwin told me lots of stories about his days as a cowboy when he was young. He used to go on cattle drives in the Wolverine Canyon. As a teenager he had lots of adventures hunting, horseback riding and camping with his friends in that canyon.

We continued on and through Caribou National Forest. This is a picture that shows the beautiful spring colors.
