Gardening

Gardening time is here! Our raspberry patch took off this year with some of the canes growing to 7 feet tall. They taste great in my morning protien shake. Sherwin built this green bean arch. It makes the beans much easier to pick.

Idaho In Late Summer

I love this time of year. Late summer and early fall is the best time to be in Idaho.

Cody and Yellowstone

Sherwin and me at the Buffalo Bill Museum

Sherwin's daughter Jeanette visited us for a week. We took a weekend trip to Yellowstone Park and Cody Wyoming. The park was lovely this time of year. It was a little cool too. In fact, we got caught in a rain storm while we were on the foot path through the mud pots.

Big shaggy buffalos

We saw several herds of buffalo in the park as well as deer and elk. Unfortunately we didn't see any bears.

We spent the night in Cody and headed to the Buffalo Bill Musuem after a nice breakfast at the hotel that Buffalo Bill built. It was a historic hotel, ornate and beautiful.

The musuem was wonderful. It is actually 4 musuems under one roof. The is a natural history section, and American Indian section, a gun musuem and then the featured Buffalo Bill musuem. We drove home through Jackson Hole. It was a great trip and we enjoyed spending the time with Jeanette.
