I Brought Ethan, Isaac and Piper to Shelley to spend a week of their summer vacation. Ethan taught me how he makes videos and he created a couple of them while he was here. He and I had a late date together at the movies one night. It was the latest Harry Potter movie. We both gave it a thumbs up!
Below is a picture of Maecy and her Great Grandma Sears.

Ethan felt like he was too grown up to enjoy the zoo so Isaac, Piper and I left him home in bed and had a day at the zoo. Piper especially enjoyed brushing the goats hair and feeding them. Isaac was facinated with the baby camel that was abandoned by its mother and was being raised by the zoo attendants. After the zoo, Isaac had a ride on the Farris Wheel, Piper rode in the airplanes and they both took a spin on the Merry-Go-Round.

Later in the day, I picked up Hyrum and Emily. The younger kids rode bikes and played in the sprinklers. Ethan was hanging out on the computer. Jessica and Mike joined us for a picnic later that night.
Piper all worn out!

Piper spent one night with her cousins, Emily and Hyrum while Sherwin and I took the boys golfing. Isaac was eager to show us what he learned from his golf lessons. BTW he told me when my golf swings stunk.

No summer vacation is complete without swimming. Mike and the Haddox kids joined us at the Shelley City Pool. Mike and Ethan hung out together and practiced their diving (or maybe I should say jumping and belly flopping). It took Emily and Hyrum awhile to get used to the pool but soon everyone was participating (even me).
Maecy

Sherwin introduced Ethan to some target practice with his 22. The gun is about 80 years old. Ethan was pretty good at hitting the target. Even Tessie and I gave it a try.
I enjoyed the time with all my grandkids. Great Grandma Sears got to meet Maecy. Even though Maecy was too young for a long visit with us, I enjoyed her for a couple of days in Boise. She is adorable as you can see from her pictures.
