Crazy Weekend

It was a crazy weekend! Saturday we awoke and remembered that it was our turn to help clean the church. This was a problem because I had invited my grandchildren, Jane and her grandson over to make Valentine cookies. So we rushed over to the church early in the morning and I hurried back home by 9:30 for the arrival of my guests. Sherwin went and helped Jessica and Mike move some things to their storage shed.
Circut City was going out of business and Sherwin had his eye on a new camera that they had just reduced. There were none in Idaho Falls but as luck would have it, Boise had one that he had James pick up for him.
After the cookies were made, Sherwin said "grab your things, we're going to Boise to pick up my camera". I tried to reason that James could mail it but Sherwin was like a kid at Christmas and couldn't wait. I asked Jane if she wanted to ride along and she said, "Sure, let me go pack".
We took off for Boise about around 3:00 PM. We got there in time to treat James and Tess to a dinner at Cool Hand Lukes. The next day we got up, played with the baby, went on a walk along the Boise River (to play with the new camera) then had lunch, went shopping and drove back home.
The next day at work I was wasted. I came home and went to bed about 7:30 PM.

This is a picture of the Greenbelt that is along the Boise River. It is about 2 blocks from James and Tess' house.
Maecy is filling out and getting taller. We think she is adorable!

It feels so good to hold a sleeping baby in your arms!

Valentine Cookies

My sister, Jane and I had a fun Saturday Morning baking Valentine cookies with some of our grandchildren, Jackson, Emily, and Hyrum.

Emily watching the cookies. Are they baked yet?

Jane and her grandson, Jackson, with some of the finished product.

Jill and Emily who is wearing what is left of her candy necklace. There is nothing as sweet as a sugar high.

Hyrum trying out his artistic cookie decorating skills.

Jackson rolling the dough and wearing the flour.

Emily with her cheeks full of "samples".

Hyrum preparing the dough. Look at that great smile! What a fun day.

Maecy Elise Page 2 Weeks Old

Here is our newest granddaughter, Maecy Elise Page. In these photos she is 2 weeks old.

Tessie and Maecy are doing well. Maecy is a contented baby. However, the last night we were in Boise with them, James and Tessie didn't get much sleep. She has her days and nights a little confused.

We had a nice visit in Boise. Saturday we met up with Julie and took her to lunch for her 42nd birthday. She and Gene are doing well. It was fun holding Maecy and watching all of her newborn facial expressions. The whole family is excited over her arrival.

Twin Falls Visit

Sherwin and I stopped in Twin Falls on our way to Boise and met up with Sherwin's Grandsons, Cade and Derek Davis. They are his daughter Donna's sons. We met for dinner and had a nice visit.
Above is Derek and his wife, Sarah and their son.

Below is Cade and his fiance, Jennifer.
Cade and Jennifer hope to marry soon. She has
a cute little girl named Lucy.
